During Antwerp Art Weekend 2018, photographer and researcher Nick Geboers presents an installation of 4 slide projections in The Temple of The Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. The title AÆUÅÆØ is derived from an old saying from West Jutland (Denmark), which literally translates to “I’m out on an island”. The slide projections show photographic images of sublime landscapes, nature observations, archaic symbols and rituals which suggest an animistic world view.
In September 2018 the book AÆUÅÆØ will be released.
