JC X JC (Young composers write for young musici)

The concert contemporary chamber music is always a very lively collaboration between the composition class of the Royal Conservatoire and the young talents of Young Conservatoire. This year too there are no less than 3 brand new creations on stage. To find the right expressions, the young musicians regularly swap their instruments for non-instruments or enchanting ethnic sounds. The title of this performance is 'Guernica'. Pablo Picasso made one of the strongest statements for peace with it. This very impressive and moving work becomes a composition for paper and voice. In addition to the three world creations, the program also includes works by Wim Henderickx and George Enescu.
