Tracing the culture and riches within the peruvian folklore music including the styles such as the valces peruanos, marinera norteña and other peruvian folklore music through my eyes and memories from growing up in Peru. Having been trained as a classical musician, I never got to explore the traditional peruvian music as a flautist. This is an opportunity for me to explore the music of my home country pairing it with my own identity as a professional musician.
