Kunstenpunt

Who are we?

Kunstenpunt is the support center for the professional arts in three disciplines: visual arts, performing arts and classical music. For all those who work in the arts, Kunstenpunt wants to be an inspiration, an accessible and reliable source of knowledge, a data supplier and fact checker, a pillar of support, a connector and innovator.

The original website of Kunstenpunt is in Dutch, yet they have also launched an English version of their services, called Flanders Arts Institute. Most of the information that you will find on the Kunstenpunt website can be found here in English.

What do we do?

Advice - We offer info & advice to artists, art professionals and organisations. Here, we collect ready-to-use information in connection to working in the arts.

Calls to action - Wanted! With us you can find an overview of calls, auditions, workshops, competitions and lots more.

Meetings & programs - Kunstenpunt organizes on a weekly basis work and information sessions, international (visitors) programs, conferences and other meetings. Come and meet us at one of these events.

News - Kunstenpunt follows the news of the arts in Flanders and Brussels closely. Discover the latest news about fine arts, performing arts and music.

Databank - Visit the databank of Kunstenpunt and discover an all-encompassing overview of:

  • Artists, curators, critics and essayists
  • Other overviews: for example promotion galleries and project spaces
  • Exhibitions and residences

Virtual - Twice a week Kunstenpunt organizes an online morning coffee; every Monday and Wednesday from 9 to 10 am.
You can also meet us during a monthly night cap: every last Monday of the month from 8 to 9 pm.
