Annika Serong (she/her) is a German Belgian actress, theatre maker, and researcher. Since 2007, she has been a permanent member of Agora Theater, the theatre of Belgium’s German-speaking community, performing in nine productions with over 800 performances. She holds a Master’s in Theatre and Film Studies from the University of Antwerp (2022).
Her current research focuses on villains (How the Villain Became a Good Example 2024–2026) and co-creation (Teaching Artistry #2, 2025–2026), particularly in professional youth theatre.
Inspired by her daughter’s question “Whose side should I be on?” she seeks theatrical answers to complex social issues for young audiences.
