Emmanuelle is a cultural theorist who specialises in fashion studies, with 20 years of higher education experience. She has taught at Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, the Royal College of Art, Leeds Arts University, Chelsea College of Arts and has been at the Royal Academy since 2009. Aside from her academic practice she works as a free-lance fashion branding and communications consultant for the luxury industry. She has written widely on fashion for academic and popular publications, and is regularly contacted by leading international news outlets (CNN, El Pais, De Morgen) as a subject expert.
In addition she is also a senior teaching fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London.
