Esther Severi is a dramaturge, teacher and researcher. She was house dramaturge of the Kaaitheater in Brussels from 2015 to 2020 and currently works freelance with creators such as Khadija El Kharraz Alami, Einat Tuchman, Radouan Mriziga, Roland Gunst, Thomas Bellinck and Khalid Koujili El Yakoubi. She started a PhD in arts affiliated to the RITCS in 2021 on Belgian political theatre in the 1970s in relation to engaged theatre practices today. She teaches thesis supervision and research at the Word Arts programme and is co-editor of a publication on dramaturge Marianne Van Kerkhoven at Documenta (December 2022).
