Born in Donostia (Spain). The techniques and creativity of dance are constantly being revised, searching for their meaning between the current dance panorama and the timeless meaning of the expression of art. Following those premises, Iñaki has spent the last 10 years blending dance pedagogy with creativity and performance at various vocational schools as the core of his artistic interest in dance, where he has created several dance pieces. He teaches workshops and gives dance classes to professionals and in vocational dance schools. Iñaki’s dance formation comprises Basque folk, classical and other dance form’s skills. Since the past 25 years he has been involved, in one way or another, in the work of Wim Vandekeybus and his company Ultima Vez. Iñaki’s key interest in dance relies on the studio research processes, the laboratory, communication between partners and sharing.
