The Master in Dance programme is associated with a number of projects within the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and outside.

Articulate

During the annual research festival Articulate, the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp open up their artistic research to students and an external audience. The festival invites you to discover the richness and diversity of artistic research. Get inspired by the variety of shapes, situations, and outcomes that artist-researchers generate during their artistic process.

Radiant Nights (DE SINGEL)

Four times a year, Radiant Nights is a space for creation and experimentation. For two whole days, Radiant Nights offers an insight into the arts landscape of today and tomorrow and features both large and small-scale work, ranging from the obscure, to the fragile, to the experimental.

>In the course “Embodied curating”, first-year students in collaboration with KASK curatorial students create artistic propositions in one of the editions of Radiant Nights. At the end of the second year of the Master in Dance, students will present their final work as part of a special edition of Radiant Nights. More information on past editions can be found here.

Symposium

The Bachelor and Master in Dance joined forces to organise the symposium embodying diversity to explore inclusive artistic dance practice. Gathered by the common desire to embrace diversity and inclusiveness inside dance and institutional contexts, we enter partnerships with artists and companies from Belgium and the international socio-artistic field. Research Day

Arguably more than ever, the connection between dance and research has taken center stage in different segments of the dance field, including higher education, the professional performing arts, and academic scholarship. It is a series initiated by the Master Dance team at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp in collaboration with different institutions and organisations such as: CORPoREAL, the interdisciplinary research group for dance, music, and drama, CoDa (Cultures of Dance) and the Research Network for Dance Studies funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO).
