Postcards from the garden

Postcards from the garden describes a year of gardening at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Based on ecofeminist practices, students join in a multispecies community is activated during weekly open gardening sessions. Together we translate topics of climate change and decolonization into gardening practices. This book gathers thoughts on how to support a more diverse habitat through engagement.
The book is printed on ecofriendly Japanese paper with rice ink, and published by Hand Saw Press Tokyo.
Eline De Clercq (she, her, we) is an Antwerp based artist & researcher. Her work includes gardening, writing, painting, short film... drawing from her own queer experiences she likes to voice a practice of care in the academy garden.
