ARTICULATE 2026 I ACADEMY

ARTICULATE 2025 I Presence and Absence

19 – 30 October

→ Read here the brochure

What does it mean to be present today?

In a world shaped by technology, representation, and public visibility, presence has become something complex — and unstable. Between what is visible and what withdraws from view, between sound and silence, something shifts.

ARTICULATE 2026 takes this tension between presence and absence as its starting point. Featuring exhibitions by students and researchers, research classes for the Academy’s master students, a two-day programme for artist-researchers, and a series of talks, it explores how absence can be just as powerful as presence.
