Talk to me: conversation #6.9

How can costume be used as a body intervention? How can this object propose not only new ways of moving, yet also recreating sensations experienced by a woman in her own body? In the attempt of putting together the questions and experimentations of one year of the research project of Renata Lamenza, "Talk to me: feminine conversations between body, costume and movement", arises this exhibition.

The exhibition will be divided into two different spaces, proposing two different installations to be experienced. On one side, a space that unites all the work and experimentation produced in this one year of research. "Come into my room" is a walk in installation with videos, interactive objects, images creating a retrospective view.
On the other side, a new collaboration is a performance project that uses the body as a playground/battleground. "Can touch this" is a guided installation and collaboration with Mery Coopman. It is to be experienced with the performers for a session of 45 minutes. Only 8 participants are allowed per session, for that you need to reserve your seat. On this new conversation, Renata and Mery guide you into the installation that uses as inspiration "King Kong Theory", the book by Virginie Despentes.
