I SOLISTI, HIIIT (formerly Slagwerkgroep Den Haag) and clarinet students from the conservatoires of Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent (clarinet choir) perform the iconic composition Talisker by the inimitable Luc Brewaeys, conducted by Filip Rathé.
Talisker will be performed no fewer than five times in total, in Flanders and the Netherlands, each time at special locations. At some venues, the programme will be given extra sparkle with the creation of a new work for percussion, bagpipes and brass instruments by Dutch-Scottish composer Geneviève Murphy. In Amsterdam, Ghent and The Hague, the concert will conclude with Oiseaux Exotiques by Olivier Messiaen.
