With great pride and enthusiasm, the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp announces that starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, two outstanding violinists will join our teaching team: Aki Saulière and Gordan Nikolić. Their arrival represents a valuable enrichment for our violin department and our program as a whole.
Aki Saulière is internationally recognized as a soloist and chamber musician. Her collaborations with renowned ensembles such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and her artistic leadership of La Loingtaine testify to her versatility and musical mastery. She places a strong focus on fostering musicianship and personal expression in our students, which perfectly aligns with our vision for musical education.

Gordan Nikolić, former concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra and current musical director of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, brings a broad and unique expertise in Baroque and contemporary music. His dedication to high-quality teaching and his experience at international conservatories make him an inspiring colleague on our team.
Together with our current faculty members, Guido De Neve and Jolente De Maeyer, they form a complementary and energetic team. We look forward to working with them to guide and inspire our next generation of violinists and prepare them for a promising musical future.
