Kobe is a Belgian percussionist / drummer who plays in countless groups. He was co-founder of Wawadadakwa, Belgian Afro Beat Association and Obatala. He played with Zita Swoon, El Tattoo Del Tigre, Tony Allen and Gabriël Rios. Together with Aarich Jespers he founded The Colorist Orchestra, an eight-piece Orchestra in which Proesmans and Jespers, as arranger, look for new registers and timbres for popular music, using mostly unorthodox instruments. The Colorist Orchestra worked with, among others, Sumie Nagano, Cibelle, Emiliana Torrini and Lisa Hannigan. Kobe worked in theater, for example, for BRONKS, HETPALEIS, TGstan, Nest. In 2013 he composed and directed the puppet theater show "Wulong of the dancing dragon" (8+) together with choreographer Iris Bouche.
