Nik Naudts is an architect and researcher who likes to move in diverse environments, between all kinds of scales and with different users. With the Design Against Design initiative, he investigates whether there are also possibilities in the many spatial and social boundaries that limit us today. He assumes that specific spatial interventions are only qualitative if they help shape a brighter and broader future. And vice versa, that unrealistic-looking social challenges can land in manageable projects that actively involve the increasingly diverse group of city dwellers.
