This research deals with being moved by a work of art. The questions asked are: How does art induce emotions? Does this communication follow an underlying system/model? Why are some works of art more successful than others?
In order to arrive at the analysis of these emotional reactions to art objects, the knowledge, models and measuring instruments from the cognitive sciences, communication sciences and product development are used.
