    STUDENT COUNCIL

    The Student Council of the Academy is committed to building a dynamic and progressive student community. It creates visibility and opportunities for students across all departments, with the aim of:

    • developing a strong and independent platform run by representatives from all departments
      • actively involving and improving individual departments
      • maintaining a close connection to student life in order to stimulate targeted change
      • demonstrating clear social engagement with current issues
    • fostering a strong relationship with the administration
    • developing strong collaborations and impactful projects, including exhibitions, talks, performances, events, and publications

    Examples include: Starters Prize (exhibition), Hapjes (publication), Fashion Department Christmas Party, Antwerp Art Weekend x Student Council (exhibition), Fashion Department Show Afterparty, and more.
