Ivan Tomašević (b. 1989) is a Croatian photographer and publisher based in Berlin. In his projects, he experiments with storytelling and design and converts these into hand-crafted artist books. His work interweaves documentary and narrative elements, exploring the topics of community, tradition, memory, and place. In his approach, he creates scenes that blur the lines between fact and fiction, provoking reflection and challenging the conventional interpretation of the presented narratives.
Tomašević studied Photography at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie Berlin and earned a Master degree in Visual Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. His work has been exhibited internationally and featured in various publications.
