Studio Stadswaag #4: For everybody, by everyone. How do we design in dialogue?
Lecture by Endeavour
Wednesday 1 March, 19:30
Endeavour, a cooperative of architects, urban planners and designers, believes that everyone has the right to imagine and co-create their environment. The question is how do we design in dialogue?
To inspire Studio Stadswaag – a participatory process for the art integration on the Stadswaag Square - Endeavour will share some of the lessons they have learned in the past 10 years executing more than 150 commissions and self-initiated projects, all experiments in connecting citizens, environment, local governments, designers, artists and more.
In collaboration with Expanding Academy.
Studio Stadswaag is a collaboration between the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Stadsform.
It is a co-creative process in which artists and (former) students of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, together and in dialogue with the neighborhood of the Stadswaag (a square located on the North of the Academy Campus) and its residents, examine what the stratification of the Stadswaag consists of today, what is in the balance, and how we can create harmonious connections and new realities through art in the public space.
